Individual Classes Plan Reunions During Railer 125

Classes from the 1950's to the 2000's are planning class reunions in conjunction with Railer 125, October 1-2, 1010. Is your class one of them? The class of 1960 will celebrate 50 years since graduation! The class of 1985 were fresh-faced graduates during the Railer 100--25 years ago. How will they commemorate their 25th? Is your class planning to tailgate before the football game Friday night? We will have tables set up in the band shell area outside the stadium and Booster Club will be selling food from the bandshell. Tables will be marked with each decade, so friends can touch base there. If you would like a table reserved for your class, let us know: e-mail newton373@gmail.com.

Class of 1975 invites other 70's alum to Party at America's Pub Oct 2., 2010

Bust a move! Or something else... A prize raffle will be held throughout the evening, with proceeds to benefit the Railer 125 endowment fund.

Start Shining those rides for RAILER 125 Car-Show CRUISE IN!

Calling all car buffs and motorcycle afficionados! Start buffing those bumpers and polishing that chrome. We want to see YOU and your ride at the Railer 125 Cruise In Car Show on Saturday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No pre-registration necessary. Just show up with your classy ride and receive a free Railer 125 Commemorative dash plaque. Did you drive a cool car in high school and now you're toting kids around in a mini-van? Or maybe your clunker barely made it to school and now you're too cool for school in your classy numbers-matching corvette! Post your cool (and otherwise) car stories on our Facebook group page and then join me at the Park for some dream car viewing and reminiscing on Saturday, October 2. Whether your fondest memories were made behind the wheel or in the back seat (wink, wink), there is sure to be a car here that will spark a memory!

All you golfers who are returning for the Railer 125 Reunion, be sure to sign up soon for the Railer 125 Benefit Golf Tournament. The tournament is at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 1 and proceeds benefit the Railer 125 endowment for technology enhancements at Newton High School. Limited to the first 144 golfers, so get your team together, or sign up as a single and we'll put you on a team. Alumni Artists Sought to Exhibit During Railer 125

CALLING ALL NEWTON HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI ARTISTS
to show artwork in celebration of the Railer 125th Anniversary.
There will be an Alumni Art Show at Carriage Factory Gallery during the month of October with a reception and artwork auction to benefit Carriage Factory Gallery and Newton High School during homecoming weekend, October 2, 2010.

Date to confirm for inclusion in show - August 1, 2010.

Art Auction – Artists donate one piece of artwork that will be auctioned to benefit Newton High School and Carriage Factory Gallery. Proceeds will be split 50/50. Additional sales of artwork would be at existing gallery pricing of 70/30 split with Carriage Factory Gallery.

The Pickup and Delivery of artwork and associated costs are the responsibility of the artists. The gallery will handle and care for artwork in a reasonable manner. Artists will be able to leave artwork for the duration of the show for the month of October. Artists may also deliver artwork for the weekend of Oct 2 opening, and pick up artwork at the end of the weekend or before they leave.
